Not only do you get your first look at him but you also see the first appearance with the since Diablo I. While a nice cut-scene occurs, it is abruptly ended with the Skeleton King attempting to kill Deckard Cain. You obviously come to his aid and slaughter the skeletons and their leader,saving his life.

Old Ruins - This is where we last left our Hero. You do not spend much time here. Just used to get you back to where you were from New Tristram.
Old Tristram Road - Also just a small section. You take this little path to get Adria's hut.
Adria's Hut/The Hidden Cellar - This first real new area from the quest, you follow Leah to Adria's Hut just outside of Old Tristram. There, she finds a hidden passage into the cellar. Cathedral - Right after leaving Leah, you make your way through the short path to Tristram Cathedral.
